The month of August is more than just the wind-down of the summer season, it is the month where we celebrate National Black Business Month. And, at such a pivotal time for black businesses in 2020 there’s no greater moment to highlight the small businesses that touch the lives of and are tailor made to represent the black community.
Significance Boutique LLC’s online clothing boutique is one such business that was created out of a dream to inspire others. The owner shares a story-line to her boutique with which many can identify. As a foster child, not having many things, she envisioned having a boutique that provided individuals with affordable clothing and being able to offer events that teach them how to use what they have to look and feel confident.
Through working for foster care, with low income families, and hearing the needs of many children and young adults,she has accomplished her dreams and turned it into a reality.
This online boutique offers women a range of clothing options from business to casual, dresses, trousers and blouses that fit the curves that are the beauty and glory of black women. To further highlight this, the culture of African Americans is also present in the range of accessories that are sold to compliment these outfits.
